Model screening tool

RO Membrane Cross-Reference Selector

Choose a known FilmTec, Hydranautics, Nitto, Toray, or application reference and see the nearest Blue Membrane review path from the uploaded workbook.

Important Equivalent means first-pass screening only. PDS, feedwater, pressure, recovery, and vessel fit still need review.

Select a reference and run the check. The result will show the closest Blue Membrane model family plus what to verify before RFQ.

Engineering Notes For The Selector

Engineers should compare pressure class before vendor names. Procurement teams need the current label photo and quantity. Operators can add normalized flow history when available. Vessel hardware changes the fit review. Chlorine exposure may rule out otherwise familiar paths. Recovery targets affect membrane stress and cleaning frequency. Cleaning records help separate fouling problems from element choice.

Photos reduce back-and-forth during model confirmation. Inventory teams can flag urgent delivery dates in the RFQ. Sampling data gives application engineers a clearer feedwater picture. Approval should wait until the latest PDS has been checked. Compatibility remains a screening word, not a purchase promise. Final selection belongs with a site-specific engineering review. Qualification teams should record who approved the existing model, whether the plant can pause for sampling, which spare housings are available, and whether the request is tied to a trial, a regular replacement order, or an urgent shutdown recovery.
