8040 Application and Pressure Path Selector

Use the operating duty, pressure class, and selection priority to identify which Blue Membrane 8040 family should be reviewed first. This is a guide for RFQ routing, not final product approval.

Select your duty and pressure class, then run the tool. The result will show the model family to review and the first compatibility warning to check.

Path Review Notes

Low-pressure selections usually begin with ULP duty and feedwater limits. Brackish projects need recovery and rejection targets before a substitute is picked. Fouling history can move a buyer toward a fouling-resistant BWRO path. Seawater duty should stay separated from BWRO in early review. ZLD work requires pressure hardware and safety checks. Nanofiltration requests need a different conversation than full RO.

Energy targets matter when the current element is in a low-pressure family. Flow targets matter when the old model was chosen for production rate. Chemistry data protects the membrane from oxidizer and cleaning damage. Hardware details prevent leaks, bypass, and startup delays. Supplier review should happen before a purchase order is released. Trial planning may be useful for unusual feedwater or qualification-heavy projects. Final approval should use the latest product data sheet.
